Day 1
(October 26, 2018)

After your arrival at Bucharest Int Henry Coanda Airport we arrange the transfer to Hotel  DoubleTree by Hilton,4*+, (2 nights) located in the city center, followed by dinner in the old town in a traditional Romanian Restaurant, “Crama Domneasca”.

Day 2
(October 27, 2018)

Start with a half day city tour, where we visit the Palace of Parliament, (1,5 h guided tour) it’s the 2nd biggest building in the entire world, the Christian Orthodox Church of the Patriarchy, the Unknown soldiers grave in the Carol Park. We continue with “The Spring Palace” the former Ceausescu family residence. Tour will end with lunch in a restaurant or garden terrace where you will get the chance to taste local delicacies and drink the local beer or wine. Free time during the afternoon for shopping or to relax.

Day 3
(October 28, 2018)

We depart north towards Sibiu, Transylvania. Driving time is about 3,5 hours, with breathtaking sites of the Carpathian Mountains in the Olt Valley. On the route we do several stops, including the 15th Century Cozia Monastery. We check into Hotel Golden Tulip,4*, (2 nights), Sibiu.  Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 
(October 29, 2018)

Breakfast and a walking tour of the Old Town in Sibiu, then we travel to the village of Sibiel, 30 min ride out of Sibiu. Here we will visit the Saxon fortified church from Cristian, 13th Century, the glass painted Icons museum and have lunch in a local pension. Return to Sibiu in the afternoon, time to enjoy the old town on your own.

Day 5
(October 30, 2018)

 We depart for Sighisoara. After a 2 hour drive we arrive in one of Europe’s oldest and best preserved medieval fortresses with houses more than 300 years old still inhabited. We do a walking tour of the fortress, which includes visiting the House where Vlad Tepes, “Dracula” lived. Lunch in Sighisoara then continue the trip to Brasov. Check into Hotel Aro Palace, 5*, (2 nights), followed by dinner in the best restaurant in Brasov, “Sergiana”.

Day 6
(October 31, 2018)

Walking tour of the Center of Brasov, the Black Church We depart towards Bran, where after a 2 hour drive visit Bran / “Dracula’s” Castle. The Bran village is perfect to buy local souvenirs from Romania at very good prices. Lunch in Bran. We return to Brasov and have dinner in the Old Town, “Cerbul Carpatin Restaurant” with folkloric music and dancing. Halloween party at a surprise location in the Old Town of Brasov.

Day 7
(Nov 1, 2018)

We travel again south, towards Bucharest. Our last stop is in Sinaia and visit Peles Royal Palace.  This is the most beautifull palace in Romania, built by our 1st king, Carol of Hohenzolern Sigmaringen, in a German Neo Renaisance style. Light lunch in Sinaia. We return to Bucharest to the same hotel you stayed initially. (Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton, 4*). Farewell dinner in “Caru cu Bere”.

Day 8
(Nov 2, 2018)

Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
