Discover works of art that no one has ever heard of with street art in South Tel Aviv, tour Tel Aviv's White City and oldest boulevard (located next to the city's first kiosk and streetlamp), stroll through the picturesque alleyways of Old Jaffa, or visit Neve Tzedek and the Old Train Station Compound.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2019

8:30 AM - 8:00 PM Sightseeing Tours in Jerusalem (included in registration) 

Explore Jerusalem through three full-day sightseeing tours available to attendees. Tours are included in your event registration. All tours will depart Tel Aviv at 9:00 AM and return at 8:00 PM and include a view from to The Commissioner's Palace Promenade (one of the most talked-about areas of the Bible, between Jerusalem and Mount of Olives), visit Machane Yehuda (the largest market in Jerusalem), you'll also walk through the ancient alleyways and quarters of the Old City and to the sites that are holy to Judaism, Christianity and Islam. During the tour we will discuss each religion from a historical, religious, and social perspective, incorporating anecdotes about the current state of affairs among the various religions. See below for more information on each tour.

Tour Option #1 - The Israel Museum, Jerusalem
We'll visit the largest cultural institution in the State of Israel, The Israel Museum, Jerusalem. (https://www.imj.org.il/en). Ranked among the world’s leading art and archaeology museums, travel through the history of Israel and view the Shrine of the Book, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest biblical manuscripts in the world, as well as rare early medieval artifacts discovered at Masada.

Tour Option #2 -Yad Vashem Museum
The new Yad Vashem Museum opened in 2005. Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, is Israel's official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust and the ultimate source for Holocaust education, documentation, commemoration and research. We'll spend part of our day allowing you to visit the exhibits through a specialized tour.

Tour Option #3 - Ein Kerem
Visit the beautiful tranquil village and neighborhood in the west of Jerusalem, Ein Kerem. Hidden in olive groves and almond orchards, from the picturesque villages, uniqueness comes from a combination of Christian architecture and Arab buildings in the rural landscape of the Judean Mountains. The tour will include visits to some of the following sites: St. John's Abbey, Visiting Church, Zion Sisters Monastery Garden.
